Equal parts orange-flavored cough drop & dried apricot dominate up front & carry throughout, w/ light splash of OJ joining mid-taste, & candied grapefruit & conspicuous, pale, doughy malt showing late & lingering long on the tongue.
Tad T: Though previously remarked to be one of this beer's most endearing qualities, hop/malt ratio has decidedly turned against my preference @46 days (7/27 can), w/ no sign of the vibrant, fresh, tropical fruit that so impressed me on my first can.
Tad T: Full bodied, though not nearly as much as the style's usual & closer to straddling the line b/t a DIPA and a triple.
